Slide Sheets

Sliding or Glide type sheets, which are designed for sliding transfers and repositioning, whilst reducing unwanted shearing forces. They are made of very low friction material, which when placed on top of one another allow the patients weigh to be easily moveable when forming part of a co-ordinated moving and handling process. The are placed underneath a person requiring an independent or assisted sliding movement in one or more directions across a level surface and come in a variety of sizes, subject to requirements.
